Retailers in Britain are experiencing pessimism

Posted on Thursday, a study CBI, marked fall in sales volumes, it is very significant. The fall of the indicator of sales occurred in mid-2010 levels (from 37 to 6). Balance of orders placed was a weak second consecutive month, while sales have returned to the levels of the first half of last year. Moreover, the attitude of retailers to the situation in the industry, taken from the quarterly survey, was the most pessimistic since February 2009, that is, to a level where only just finished the worst of the recession. Separately, consumer confidence index from the GfK remained at depressed levels, -28, only slightly up from -29, noted last month.
