More and more Central Banks are now similar to hedge funds, buying various assets.ECB last week has purchased about bonds approximately on 1,4 billion euro. Moreover, quarterly recalculation has shown that ЕЦБ has made more money on purchased within the limits of the bond buyback program. Level of purchasings last week has appeared the highest for last three months that has occurred against pressure upon Ireland. However, ЕBU doesn't disclose a detail under the purchased bonds so it is impossible to learn, what influence on the market was rendered by their choice of bond purchase. The profit on bonds more than is erased by losses on gold as it has fallen more than to 5 % to euro for the last quarter.
